The Californian poppy (Eschscholzia Californica) is a bitter sedative herb that acts as a diuretic, relieves pain, relaxes spasms and promotes perspiration. California poppy (Eschscholzia Californica) does not depress the central nervous system. The Californian poppy possesses gently antispasmodic, sedative and analgesic actions. Passionflower (Passiflora Incarnata) has been used by herbalists in Mexico, Central America, and Texas as a calmative and sleeping aid for over 200 years. The plant is used in the treatment of stomach aches, gravel, worms and scrofula. An infusion of the roots, leaves or seeds has been used in the early stages of fevers.
